Dear Friends and Readers,
I am embarking on a new path. Or, one might say, returning to my original path.
I graduated from massage school and became a personal trainer in 1995. I began teaching yoga classes in 1996. In 1998 I entered Chinese medical school. In 1999 I began cultivating meditation under the guidance of a thirteenth generation chan monastic lineage holder from China, and continue to this day. In 2002 I earned a master of science degree in traditional Chinese medicine from my alma mater in San Francisco and set off to live, work and study in China for the next few years. In 2008 I returned to my alma mater as an instructor. In 2013 I began teaching private students outside of the formal academy.
While I continued to heal and teach, beginning in 2015 I began devoting more time to warning people of the dangers ahead. I have now done what I can in that regard. In the process, I have learned so much more about humanity. While before I had learned about healing, since 2015 I’ve been learning about illness.
Now I am returning to my path as a healer and teacher.
To this end, I am hosting on line meditation sessions Tuesday evenings at 6:15, Pacific time. I will send the link out as an email through Substack a few minutes before. The first session will be this evening, Tuesday, April 9th. You are invited to join us.
The first session meditating with me is my gift to you. If you derive value from it and wish to return in the future, for those subsequent sessions, I will ask for a proper exchange of value as determined by the wisdom in your own heart.
Everything I have to teach is best learned while in a meditative state. Much of it arises out of the meditative state. I will be sharing a little bit of that knowledge and offering simple instruction in some of the basic skills during the weekly meditation sessions. I will also be announcing further opportunities to deepen the experience, to learn more about the spiritual and energetic bodies and consciousness, and to learn exercises and methods for tapping into our deeper selves and developing a more harmonious and balanced relationship within.
We all know the world is troubled, and many of us and our loved ones and neighbors likewise are troubled. In my decades of experience seeking to alleviate or ease the troubles, I have found that meditation and the exercises and methods that arrise out of it are far and away the most effective.
I now offer to share what I have learned.
Thank you,
Elliott Freed

Am I too late?
